Brad, originally from Goodrich, MI played hockey for 17 years, starting at age 5. He played junior pro hockey, attended Jon Elkin Goaltending school in Toronto and coached and trained over 20 hockey players and teams. While in high school, Brad won the Hobey Baker award, an award that is presented to the player on each High School team that most exemplifies the values and traits of Hobey Baker himself. This prestigious award evaluates: Character, Commitment, Teamwork, Persistence, Selflessness, Academic Excellence and Sportsmanship. And a “The Team before me” philosophy.
